Well here’s a little preview – award winning artist Tracey Harvey.

We caught up with Tracey to find out a little bit more about her, where she draws her inspiration from and what we can expect to see at Perth Art Upmarket from her.

What inspires your art?

Nature, People and places around us.

I’m an abstract painter with a passion for colour, and causes that touch my heart.

My paintings have won awards in Australia and Italy and are held in numerous private international collections.

My professional medical background is inherent in my painting as I am acutely aware of the fragility of life yet also in awe of people’s resilience.

The constant endeavours of scientific research and the magnificent Australian landscape inspire me, eternally.

What materials do you like to work with and why?

Acrylics for their fast drying and flexibility and oils for their exquisite buttery textures and lustrous colour intensity.
