Shenae Lange: "A Crystal Clear Passion"

Shenae Lange is a local Perth Artist with a unique vision, colourful creativity, and a knack for using crystals in her pieces to add incredible texture and dazzle.

From Hobbyist to Artist

Officially, Shenae started her art career/ small business in June 2021. Prior to that she always loved art as a hobby but lacked the confidence to pursue it further. With the support of her partner, friends, and family she decided to take a leap of faith and turn what she loved into a career. She quit her old job, set up an art studio at home and started her new creative journey into doing something she adores.

Each Piece a Unique Gem

Shenae’s art is usually created using various types of mediums such as resin, crystals, glass, paint, and natural elements (to name a few). She creates pieces that captures the eye and draws focus to different parts in her work. Her pieces are usually inspired by places she has visited, seasons of the year, or natural elements such as crystals.

Each work of art she makes is one of a kind, no two pieces will ever look identical to one another.

There Were Some Challenges, of Quartz
 

Shenae has overcome several challenges. She had to learn everything about running a small business from scratch. It has been a roller coaster but a fun one! Her biggest challenge now is growth. Just like any other up and coming artist, getting her name out there can feel like an uphill battle. However, to Shenae, this is only a small hurdle in the bigger picture. She has all the optimism in the world that she will reach the goal of growing her business.

The Future Looks Diamond Bright

Shenae has many goals when it comes to the future of her business, but her main goal would be to move into her own workshop/studio with more space. With extra space, she can continue to make her beautiful art and display everything she creates for people to come and see.

“I love being able to meet new people and talk to them face to face, as well as answering any questions they may have. I also enjoy the environment I am in when it comes to market day, it’s a great way to get my name out there and show people what I love doing every day. Plus it’s a happy environment, ALWAYS!”

"Sundays Euphoria"

Shenae is obsessed with how this piece turned out and has considered so many times keeping it for herself. However, she would love to see this piece go to someone who will love and appreciate it as much as she does.

Why? Because like everything she creates, Shenae puts her heart and soul into making it beautiful and meaningful. This one reminds her of Sundays spent relaxing in the sun by the beach, being surrounded by people she loves and feeling a sense of euphoria.
