There’s a few new faces at winter Upmarket. Jess Lloyd, the creative designer behind Friends of Henry Paper Co is among the newbies and brings with her a whole lot of cute stationery with quirky and funny sentiments.

English teacher Jess started Friends of Henry in 2016 as a creative project and the name is based on her adorable little dog – a Puggle named Henry who befriends everyone he meets.

Her love of cute puns and graphic design inspired her to create unique cards for every occasion. Mothers Day, birthdays, baby showers, just to say “hi”, “thanks”, “you’re doing just fine” or “you’re turtley awesome”… there’s something guaranteed to make anyone smile, whatever the reason.

The real icing on the cake is that every card is designed in WA and printed on recycled stock.

Jess’ future plans for Friends of Henry is to see how far the business can grow while teaching part time.

“The positive feedback has been overwhelming and I am so excited to be sharing my designs with people all over the world,” Jess said.
