Those chilly mornings have well and truly set in. In my house, one challenge that comes with this change of season is convincing the kids to give up the shorts and t-shirts to make the transition to winter layers.
Luckily, winter kids clothing and fashion accessories just keeps getting better and better. Trends like layered overalls, woolly knee socks and knitted bonnets put a bit of fun into dressing kids in the colder months (once they cooperate that is).
What is even better is when these clothes are handcrafted by local designers.
At the Junior Upmarket section of Upmarket, you’ll find some of the most creative local designers for your little ones – with something from newborns through to your bigger kids. Think vintage floral dresses from Studio Busso, edgy unisex styles from Little Lords and pretty pastel layers from Pure Tots. Two Little Stars have a great range of overalls in autumn colours prefect for layering up and Toastie Toots have the coolest winter vests going around (do they come in adult sizes….?). To top off your little ones’ outfit, accessorise with a bandana bib from My Little Love Heart to keep their necks warm, tights and bloomers from Bambolina. Finish their look with the coolest kicks for your little miss or mister from Kit&Kate.
Junior Upmarket, sponsored by Buggybuddys, is located in Hackett Hall and is the place to go to shop for your little ones or to find the perfect gift for another family. As well as gorgeous handmade clothes, you’ll find the cutest accessories, prints for bedrooms, kids décor, clever baby items, activity packs and more.
Make sure you don’t miss out on Junior Upmarket on Sunday 25 June from 10am – 4pm. Check out below just some of the winter kids trends you’ll find there.
